    December 22, 2016 - Honey Butter Fried Chicken and blinds (Chicago, IL): Believe it or not, I actually had a bottle of Chianti. I thought that this was actually showing quite well. It had a nice mix of green herbs and earth, with barely enough fruit to keep things in balance. The palate is obviously a bit abrasive and young, but there was some good material here -- I especially liked the dustiness on the finish.

    1/13/17, 11:41 AM - I'd be shocked if this is more than a shadow of the wine to come. In a good vintage 8-10 years should be your starting point with Rancia. Hope you have a few more bottles stashed away :)
