December 29, 2016 - Year end dinner at Jade Palace. Deep yellow gold. Very fine bubbles, and well matured. Buttered toast, roasted nuts, olive oil, peach and vanilla cream. Lots of freshness and acidity on the nose and palate. Layered, elegant (for a Krug?!) and very opulent with lots of yellow fruit, yeast, buttered toast, hazelnuts and cashews. Impressive length and good complexity. Excellent start to the evening!
