January 25, 2017 - Enofusión 2017; 1/23/2017-1/25/2017 (IFEMA - Madrid): Aged to perfection. It's still a fresh wine. I think it's a blast right now, but it still has a catch. On the nose, roses predominate. Tar in the mouth? There is nothing at all. It is round but soft, with a complex structure and acidity, both. I think it's one of the best sample for anyone who wants to get close to a mature Bordeaux. An accessible St Julien. As it should be.

1/31/17, 12:14 PM - I agree with you. Lagrange in 1996 made a modern, fresh yet traditional linear elegant yet soft silky concentrated and long aristocratic wine. This is my 2nd favourite old school Lagrange before my favourite the 2000.

    Cheers!
