  March 11, 2017 - Last one I have of this vintage (what a shame but it was great fun tasting these over the past 4 years).
  
  Opened late afternoon and into the decanter. Sediment had settled nicely so I was careful not to disturb it. Initial taste in the first five minutes (I had to take a peek) showed a hint of red fruit along with cigar / coffee notes.
  
  About 3-4 hours later picked up some dark current or blackberry on the nose, very pleasant mouth feel with an incredibly long and wonderful finish. Notes of leather. You can feel the terroir as the fine tannins grip the inside of your mouth.
