  March 26, 2017 - Well stored examples of this wine remain packed and stacked. I really do miss these 80's Cordier wines. This bottle was singing right off the bat, no decant needed. Soaring aromas of forest floor, tobacco, cassis, wet earth, graphite and pencil. Same on the palate, but with a deeper expression of fruit that also included some plum. This is a big, rustic wine and it makes no excuses. With that, you get fantastic complexity and a wine that offers new discoveries hour by hour. I could have smelled and tasted this all night, but it was so good that I finished it in just under 4 hours. What a winner! 97 Pts
