April 9, 2017 - 2013 wasn't the best vintage for the reds, and I feared that it would drink like a 2011, but tasted blind you would never know and I think it's pretty clear that '13 is superior to '11 in every respect. Certainly not a 2010 or 2005, but this bottle has loads of flavor, concentration, depth, and complexity at 4 years old. This was clearly of grand cru quality and will age beautifully on its balance alone. I think the 2013s trade cheap and it's worth seeking out excellent producers for '13/'14 before the '15s send everything to the moon price-wise.
