August 20, 2022 - Tasted blind. Discrete nose with red fruit and some toasty oak. Elegant, precise on the palate with good dry extract, young, needs time, can ad a point or two once mature. 94-95

November 24, 2019 - Jean-Pierre Reniard Burgundy Wine Seminar (Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant): Tasted in Riedel Burg glass. Aired about 4+ hours in bottle already.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of dark tea leaves, Chinese herbs, red cherries, licorice spice. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of red cherries, licorice, dark herbs, spices. Long finish. Palate-wise, voluminous but rather simple and linear at the moment. Just being embryonic at the moment I think. Needs time to fill out and develop.

April 9, 2017 - 2013 wasn't the best vintage for the reds, and I feared that it would drink like a 2011, but tasted blind you would never know and I think it's pretty clear that '13 is superior to '11 in every respect. Certainly not a 2010 or 2005, but this bottle has loads of flavor, concentration, depth, and complexity at 4 years old. This was clearly of grand cru quality and will age beautifully on its balance alone. I think the 2013s trade cheap and it's worth seeking out excellent producers for '13/'14 before the '15s send everything to the moon price-wise.
