  May 28, 2017 - dark red, clear, spice and berry on the nose, and on the palate, too. Fruit forward, but not too much; nicely balanced by a layer of loam and pepper on the finish. One of my favorite recent syrahs. It's good now; won't wait too long to drink the last bottles; 2019 or 2020 at the latest.
