June 4, 2017 - A whiff of some greenness and also firm spices; the combination made this wine a bit rustic, but als charming in its originality (and not in a French style). After 16 years this wine was in no way tired.

6/7/17, 12:10 AM - I tasted the wine from the fridge of my friend Loek three days after opening and together with the Quarz '14 from Cantina Terlan and the '00 Sociando-Mallet they all showed well. I know Loek and I'm certain he gave the Coppermine Road a lot of air. I think the wine will need it, because after three days in the fridge (with only appr. one glass left in the bottle) the wine was still quite firm. Greeting, Frans
