  September 2, 2017 - Ruby hue.This is a complex wine. Shiraz dominates the nose with meat, leather, tar and licorice. Blackcurrant, mint, roses, wet earth, black pepper,incence, cigar box and cherries in the background. The palate is medium to full bodied with good balance and integration. The wine is feminine and relatively elegant. Still young. Has many years to go. Surprisingly good wine. Probably best 45 minutes after opening at around 14-16 degrees C.
