Medium ruby in the glass with garnet at the rim.
Classic nose. A bit of overt Brett but well integrated with new oak, savory tamari tertiary notes, slight pyrazinic stewed pepper, faded blackcurrant, sweet tobacco.
Medium bodied with medium alcohol, soft melted tannins, and elegant medium plus acid. Satiny texture. Long finish.
We had time for this wine, and it had time for us.1 person found this helpful 4,200 views
