  October 15, 2017 - Opened and decanted 2 hours before drinking. On opening, the aroma was powerful and smooth, but on the palate the acidity and tannins were too prominent. Within an hour the balance was improving and at 2 hours I thought this was just perfect. Classic Cote Rotie, with evidence it will continue well for several years, but why wait?
