  December 8, 2017 - Nice smoky cherry and raspberry flavors when drinking alone. However, with sauce- based Italian food it seems to lack the acidity/ tannin necessary to complement sauce and cheese dishes. More than likely would go better with white meats and lean red meats. Rather unusual for a Chianti in that respect.
