    February 2, 2018 - A nice light/middle weight Barbaresco with decent fruit, acids and structure to make a nice accompaniment to our Italian meatballs. Many here suggest cellaring this wine for a lot longer (I still have 5 bottles so I undoubtedly will) but it was drinking nicely all the same.

    9/17/20, 6:02 PM - I have a friend who claims that 2016 Italian Barolos will be the last vintage he buys since he believes it will outlive him (well, he is over 55 .....) but I think you should open your first bottle in 7-10 and go from there. I have found that "age-ability" sells so even if the particular bottle wasn't really meant to age 20-30 years, by saying it is is worth extra $$$$. Shocking, sad, but true.....
