February 14, 2018 - High purity, lemon peel, Canadian honey, stone, and a touch of vanilla. Medium to full bodied wine. Very complex and dynamics.

2/24/18, 7:42 PM - The 1983 vintage of this wine was my introduction to Grand Cru Chablis in the late 1980's and it was exquisite, love these wines, extraordinary in great years!

2/25/18, 5:59 AM - Yes, they are absolutely beautiful. Many Chablis producers are quite under-rated in my view. Never had a grand cru Chablis that old but would love to find and try them one day.

2/25/18, 8:44 AM - Another to look for is Pouilly-Fuissé which is in the final stages of being awarded a number of Premier Cru's for the first time. Domaine Ferret is worth looking for... while owned by Louis Jadot, they are independent and known for a tradition of female winemakers. They will have 3 1er Cru vineyards. I have all three from the 2012 Vintage and they are wonderful and fairly priced if you can find them.
