March 3, 2018 - Henry Comes to Tucson: 2001 Tuscany night (Tucker household): On the nose, apricot pit and orchard fruit along with plenty of mineral stoniness. This is broader and denser than either of the Shafer Frohlich wines, but still with enough acidity to carry its somewhat Baroque frame. It lacks some of the subtlety and grace of the other bottles, but still outstanding in a more overt and powerful mode. 90

    3/7/18, 11:44 PM - Hi CCT,
I will comment all three of your GG TNs in this one.
I am afraid but the Hubacker is maybe still too young.
Most of the vintages from KPKs Hubacker need a lot more than a decade to reveal the whole complexity.
And 2008 is always a bit complicated.
The S-F bottlings are in a good shape now and I am a little jealous because enjoying a 2005 GG is a rare experience.
Most of the GGs are poured much too young. I do like them fresh but mostly I am saving them now for a decade+.
    Cheers
