  March 22, 2018 - Decanted for several hours, took a taste and poured back in the bottle to wait for day two, when it was improved. Medium brick red color with browning at edges. Lovely nose of cherries, licorice and leather. Light-to-medium bodied red fruit on the palate with good acids and light tannins. A pleasant wine, but lacking complexity. I’ll be surprised if this further improves with age, but it should drink well for another five years or so. At $40, a reasonable QPR.
