    March 25, 2018 - (Tasted at the winery) TC’s first non-sterile-filtered Cotes since 2008. Hope they do more of that with their wines. Tight but creamy and tending toward black and red fruits. Extremely primary right now. A more feminine rendition of this offering. But the gates on these usually start opening around year 2. Drink 2020-2025. ( ����= Worth Seeking Out)

    6/7/18, 8:07 AM - Did you pick up any idea on why they started doing sterile filtration in the first place (and then abandoned) and whether the same decisions applied to their other reds? Maybe they found after aging for several years that the character was evolving.... differently...?

    6/7/18, 8:31 AM - They didn’t address that specifically. But my sense is that this a continuing shift by TCV toward less and less intervention and letting the wines speak of the terroir/region. First organic . . . Then biodynamic . . . Then . . .
