  April 21, 2018 - I have had this wine a bunch of times and it is always perfect. A huge nose of botrytis, white peach, lanolin, cotton candy, Earl Grey, orange rind, apricot, and spice. One really could spend hours just sniffing and not even taking a sip. But a sip seals the deal, 01 Yquem is in a league of its own. The palate goes on and on with incredible precision. As with all great Yquem, the intensity is off of the charts. It is simply amazing how well this wine is coming along and it still has many decades to go. From 375, light golden color, and opened 24 hours in advance of service. 100 Pts
