April 22, 2018 - This is definitely approachable right off the bat, but I enjoyed it more as it opened up a few hours. Aromas of floral, cherry, dried cranberry, a little lemon, damp earth, and graphite. Medium bodied with medium acidity and finish, a bit of tannic grip yet, and flavors of black cherry, plum, some dark fruits as well, iron, and mineral. I think one of the pro reviews mentioned "rustic" and I can see that. No worries popping now, but I think it could improve with short term cellaring, so maybe I'll space them out a little.
