April 23, 2018 - Bollinger VVF & Friends (Nico Osteria - Chicago, IL): Decidedly floral and spicy aromas with ripe fruit beneath. Broad and rich with less acid and bead than I'd prefer. Leaves a heavier and riper impression. This did improve with time in the glass, but I didn't love it relative to the big house bubbles on the table tonight.

4/24/18, 11:52 PM - Interesting how a taster at the same event found this to be close to enamel stripping and your think it lacks acid. All down to preference I guess or perhaps two different bottles.
