  May 17, 2008 - Mid-dark gold color. Very reserved nose with faint traces of ripe pear and a perception of sweetness. A big mouth-filling thick and viscous wine, without a lot of varietal character, but showing a bit of pear behind the moderate sweetness. Finishes clipped and with a bit of bitterness. Full of texture, but lacking the layers of flavor that you get with great wines from Zind.
