June 17, 2018 - Crimson in the glass. Cedar, cassis and dark red fruit dominate the nose. Viscous and full bodied on the palate, this is approachable, showing the typical Margaux perfume, but more integration is needed. The fruit is soft and sweet and the finish is smooth and controlled. This is less shut down than when I tasted it 3 years ago. I will stick with my 2025 drinking target for now.
