  August 5, 2018 - Not to be trite but omigosh. Decanted for about 5 1/2 hours and paired with grilled stuffed flank steak. Almost caramel in colour. Early barnyard funk blew off quickly, opening to elegant lingering finish. Earth, tobacco, some anise aromatics at the bottom of the glass. Still lots of red fruit. My only regret is that I don’t have a case of this...
