  August 24, 2018 - Talula's Table with a few Berserkers - Late Summer menu: This was in a flight of two wines with a Donnhoff Spatlese Riesling. That wine completely overshadowed this one. The nose was a little odd and subdued at first and at one time I even thought I smelled tomato leaf. A creamy, heavier mouthfeel than the Riesling. Moderate acidity. Pleasant, but the Riesling had a lot more going on and that made it hard to appreciate this one.

  8/25/18, 2:04 PM - Having had experience with the Don't Have and no experience with this bottle, I found this Les Tuffeaux more interesting and textural than the Riesling. I was focused on this wine and determined it provided at least the same or slightly more intellectual substance Jeff. :)

  8/25/18, 2:36 PM - Dave, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think it would have been a fun bottle to sit down with on its on. It may have been easier to appreciate the subtleties. Thanks again for the cigar. I'm going to light it up later tonight.
