September 8, 2018 - Very eager to taste what seems to be a two-face wine here on CT.
Previous bottle was tasted at the Château in September 2017, no formal notes taken.
This bottle was purchased from a fellow collector, he let me have it at only 75 Euro !

No decant, just pop and pour and just give it some time in the glass to open up.
About 3/4 bottle was flanked by meat of lamb, mashed potatoes and buttery chicory.

+ Nose - sensual, refined, freshly sawed fine wood, smoky, cherries, blackberry, bit of graphite, some licorice and strawberry (?)
+ Taste - light, well balanced, lovely balanced acidity, good spicy hint on the tongue
+ Finish - plums, some tobacco, dark fruits, refined, dark cherry, very long, a slight push of alcohol

Furthermore found these notes at the end of my TN ... If tasted blind, wouldn't put this in Pauillac.
Also when rolling the wine in your glass, it makes a sexy dance all around your glass .... nice ;-)

Clearly, I'm in the YES camp for this wine ... I will struggle to go up to 94/95, so rating at 93/100.

    Mathijs
