  June 12, 2008 - (at Tribecca Grill – NYC - 3L) Wow – what a fantastic wine. Garnet purple with a soaring nose of blackberries, meat and violets. Opened tight, but blossomed with air. Medium bodied but so deep and balanced. This was a delight to drink right now, but will continue to improve for years. Top drawer Chateuaneuf that blew away the two bottles of Rayas I tasted along side it. (95+)
