  October 22, 2018 - The 2014 'Solari' is composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from a unique block within the Larkmead vineyard. The soil profile is composed of Cortina (Gravel) and Pleasanton (Clay) that isn’t found anywhere else on the estate. This simply stunning wine opens to to inviting aromatics of fresh blackberries, dark cherries, spices, loam and spring florals, which all come together and soar from the glass. On the palate this possesses incredible overall structure, balance and depth with excellent tension and poise, ending in a long horizontal finish. Overall this is a totally stunning wine that beautifully expresses its terroir and possesses remarkable aging potential. Hard to find much better.
