  November 10, 2018 - Not decanted, two small pours consumed over ~1 hour. A promising nose, with mild black cherry and/or dark berries and some red meat, slightly charred. On the palate, this had some welcome high-toned acidity and some sustained bass notes of blackberry, black licorice, oak, and char, but not as much as I'd like to fill out the middle of the chord. A deep, dark, brooding syrah, pretty well integrated - I'd concur with ikkaariainen that it's in its window.
