  December 31, 2018 - Up front this is all lush red and black fruit. Aromatic herbs, thinking lavender and rosemary, also feature prominently on the nose. You can smell some of the lingering sweetness from the oak toast, but nothing obtrusive. This wine glides on the palate with smooth and refined tannins with just enough structure to keep everything in balance. This is such a great wine, showing yet again that 2012 Bordeaux continues to punch above the press clippings upon release.
