Fugu Me Likes this wine:
February 18, 2019 - PnP, then consumed over two nights. Pretty unforgiving tannins on initial pour, this started to soften up after a couple of hours. Blackberries and raw earth that can come from nowhere else on the planet. Tannins remained pretty chewy on night two, but a certain finesse emerged, while still having a marvelous rawness to it. Love Sagrantino, love Paolo Bea. A match made in heaven, also known as Umbria. Feel like this was opened 10-15 years too early.
