March 5, 2019 - To me, tasted grenache dominate. Very good wine. I did not realize it was $120 bottle. Not sure it is a great QPR.

3/10/19, 9:15 AM - I don’t think it has any Grenache in it at all. Probably needed a long decant...and yes I don’t think there are any Guigal wines that are a good QPR anymore. Cheers!

3/10/19, 9:21 AM - Thanks! I agree that the Guigal's have gotten very expensive. Yes, shockingly, $119. It may not have had grenache, but it had a more refined texture than you would see with Syrah or Mourvedre.

4/5/19, 6:01 PM - It’s a premium Guigal! Probably underpriced relative to its La La siblings. ANd definitely no Grenache or Mourvèdre!!!!!

9/27/19, 5:00 PM - Thanks for teaching me something about Cote-Rotie! But what is interesting is I said "it tasted grenache dominate" which is different than it "is Grenache dominant!"
