March 8, 2019 - I liked this especially because it tastes exactly like a Bize Vergelesses in a ripe year should. Ripe, concentrated medium weight black fruit, strongly noticeable but well-integrated stem character, a nice earthy quality, tannins mostly in check but with a hint of Savigny austerity/rusticity on the back end. Drinking very well now but could easily take further aging.
