March 22, 2019 - I readily admit a huge mistake with the other bottle I recently had. This masterpiece requires a very long decant. Palmer 2000 requires at least a 5 hour decant, then begin to enjoyably consume. It possesses black currants, berries, pencil shavings it ran the full continuum of Margaux. The nose changes every ten minutes until ultimately the fruit was evidenced along with the French terrain. It is the Palmer I remember and love. If you cannot decant it for a long period of time, then drink it whenever you can. Spectacular with a long decant.
