March 27, 2019 - Classy stuff. Iron filings with some violets and ripe, rustic fruits. Most notable is a consistent mineral sense. The fruit is wrapped around a strong acid core. It's shed most of it's fat and feels lean for the most part. A nice late grip with some green streaks. This seems to be in a nice window but there is fruit density to burn. Good now and probably still good in ten years. Terrific. Punches above it's weight.

3/30/19, 9:39 AM - Helpful and encouraging note Chris, as it seem we track Aglianico wines similarly based on the Lonardo TN's. BTW - JJ Buckley has these on the cheap, $26 - seems like a great price.

3/30/19, 9:08 PM - That's where I got mine, Dale. I had previously tried another, younger wine from this house and enjoyed it. Finding a bottling with 12 years under for less than $30 was hard to pass up!
