  April 13, 2019 - Not much to add to the other reviews. This is a delicious wine with lots of dark fruit flavors, a little leather, cinnamon, cedar, and oak. Very smooth. My favorite part of this wine thought might have been the nose when the glass was essentially empty, a very pleasant sweetly charred oak barrel smell. I have to agree that this wine is worth its price, and that it tastes like it has aged for many more years.

  4/14/19, 4:52 AM - It is a special wine experience, isn't it? I have one '14 left and dreading having to drink it! I'm finding that if you can let Mike's wines sit a few years, even his entry level cab at a far lower price, it drinks almost as well as the more expensive stuff. The '14's, all of them, are absolutely beautiful right now. These '15s are just entering their prime windows, IMO. Your '97' may prove to be a '99' in another year or two! Cheers! Mark
