  April 14, 2019 - Nose with ripe strawberries, some cranberries, some dried red berries, hints of truffle, and some flowery notes. Medium bodied with strawberries and cranberries including hints of bitter notes, good acidity. fine and pure berry notes, rather well integrated tannins, and a berry-dominated aftertaste. Drinks well now, will keep, 90 pts.
  
  As is usually the case for Valmaggiore, this wine presents a rather soft and accessible version of Nebbiolo. I suppose the ripe vintage has helped this style further.
