  May 5, 2019 - Tasted from a Zalto Universal glass, this is exactly where I want my wines to be. There's a bit of bricking to the color indicating the 15 years since the vintage. Scents of earth, tobacco with a light smokiness, dried blackberries, with a hint of all-spice. On the palate, there are blackberries, raspberries, cherry, olive tapenade, and clove. This is just plain awesome, and I certainly wish I had more left. If I had some in the cellar; I would check in on them immediately. This is just so lovely, the tannins have resolved some yet still proved a lovely structure for the wine. I have to say, I have not understood the hype of Big from my past experiences; but this wine...it's just plain brilliant. Outstanding!!!!
