  May 10, 2019 - This is a fruit bomb in all the right ways. It's not goopy or over extracted or sweet. The wine comes from Puglia, so it's ripe and while not hot you can tell there is a high alcohol content. But it also has great acidity, and is fresh, and your palate doesn't drag or tire after taking a sip. It acts in much the same way a well done Zin does, with that bright, rambunctious fruit. There's a little mint/eucalyptus thing going on here in the background but this is utterly delightful. It will be great with anything grilled and slathered with a not too spicy BBQ sauce.
