  November 14, 2021 - Dark ruby with moderate to slow legs. Cherry, anise, and spice on the nose. Smooth body; light to moderate mouth feel. Cherry, vanilla, and spice on the palate. Tannins decreased significantly after being opened for several hours. Moderately long spicy finish.

  October 14, 2021 - Drinking with friends IV - Italy (Riccione): Thick ruby red.
  Ripe red fruits at nose, red oranges, strawberry grape, violets. Some balsamic notes. Very fine.
  Smooth and fresh, well balanced, with a light, pleasing sweetness.
  Long persistance on fruity notes.

  June 16, 2020 - Good, for the style. Very much in the mold of casual, or sipping wines, with some of the barrique (together with some tonneau) treatment giving this a candied edge most of the time. If it's served at a cooler temp, the wine shows much better - more freshness, balance, etc. Maybe an end of the night wine when all the good ones have already been opened, but the guests are calling for more wine. 100% Susumaniello.
