April 18, 2019 - Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Pre-Easter tasting (Private Location): Perfect example for a German Pinot Noir imo. The nose is a mix of strawberry and raspberry mixed with a good portion of vanilla and a nutty component (way too much oak imo). Gets better with time but absolutely not my preferred style. Better on the palate although the oak also dominates here. The acidity plays on a medium level. Harmonic mouthfeel, good length. Without a doubt this wine has a certain level of quality but again: Just not my style.
