  May 31, 2019 - Had after 30 min decant and drank over 2h, it did not change in character over the period. On the nose this was a 95-96, absolutely tantalising aromas of black currant, leather and deep, rich, fresh soil. On the palate it was somewhat less impressive, a very good mature Bordeaux but a little bit thin on the mid palate and a finish that did not quite keep the balance but hinted at acidity and slight bitterness. Enjoyed it for sure but it was better a few years ago.
