  May 25, 2019 - Memorial Day 2019; 5/25/2019-5/26/2019 (Big Bear CA): Excellent wine! A strong 92! We tasted this Carlisle Papera head to head with a 2015 Bedrock Papera. The Carlisle was preferred by the group. The Carlisle struck us as having better structure, a longer finish, more integrated flavors, just an overall better wine. They were both good, but the Carlisle was the clear favorite!

  6/9/19, 6:49 PM - Jerb, I have 6 vintages of Carlisle papera ranch and three vintages of Bedrock, at least that is what my inventory shows. Carlisle is my #1 producer and Bedrock #2, so I enjoyed your tasting note. Papera Ranch zins are my favorite, see a previous note of mine on a Papera Ranch tasting of three different vintages, drink up!
