June 12, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Expressive nose displaying intense ripe black and red fruit, blackberry concentrated, black cherry, raspberry, lavender, caramel, a hint of mint, baking spices, charred rare steak and mineral. Exceptional concentration, layers upon layers of concentrated black fruit, dense, unctuous, silky, medium acidity, medium mineral and a long concentrated black cherry and blackberry driven finish with lavender and caramel at the end. This is very ripe and rich. Although enjoyable with the opulent primary fruit, this can easy improve for three decades or more.
