  June 22, 2019 - I agree with many others that this is past its prime. This bottle wasn’t bad, and had more funk than I’ve experienced in any previous Beaucastel (a good thing for me.) I probably would have guessed Pegau in a blind tasting. However, the fruit had faded and there was a hint of sourness underneath. If this bottle is typical, I’d drink up within the next 2-3 years.
