July 3, 2019 - A superb wine in the making. Very powerful, but not at all heavy nor over the top. The sheer power is managed and under an elegant control with healthy tannin and fresh backbone keeping it all tide up with splendid texture. The nose is not yet fully open but undeniably Bordeaux at its best and yet keeping the right elegance of a Margaux. Lots of fruits, and right amount of wood, pencil, spices but none of them sticking out obviously. On the palate the texture is like a gorgeous symphonic sound reverberating and echoing as it expands itself on the palate and as it goes down it makes you follow through as it goes down, if I may express myself this way. I haven't been a fan of Bordeaux lately at all but this surely puts me back on track and will surely seek out some more. Cheers,
