July 13, 2019 - Funk, brine, grilled red meat, dust. And a fabulous nose. In fact, I could just swill this and be pretty OK. There is a sweetness on the nose that is irresistible. Polished finish, I think the mid-palate could be a bit hardier but that is nitpicking. Drinking quite well and it will be interesting to see if it picks up more complexity. Is there enough back bone to age long?

    8/10/19, 7:58 PM - Greetings Again:)
Having a party soon and need to pull some bottles from my cellar. Is this wine at its peak or at least ready to drink? Thanks Dave

8/11/19, 10:42 AM - Hey Dave, I think it is ready to drink now and may get better with another year or two in the bottle. Fabulous nose. We did a 2-3 hour decant as usual. Enjoy the wine and the party! Cheers, Steve
