  July 19, 2019 - Another bottle for the sink .... tremendous oxidation! Carbonnieux needs to do something about this! So many vintages have the issues, despite me buying the wines when they come out and storing them in my climatized cellar! Luckily it was my last bottle, unfortunately half of the 12bottle case were like that. I used this one for cooking: mussels in white Carbonnieux wine, a new signature dish!

  7/25/19, 5:02 AM - At a recent tasting I was speaking to a representative of Carbonnieux who said that for the recent vintages they have changed the type of cork they use which will reduce the frequent instances of prem ox that we’ve seen in the 2010s.
  I’m guessing it still made for a good sauce for the mussels at least?
