  August 9, 2019 - The nose starts off alcoholic, with weird overripe notes. But in the fashion of many great, mid-aged Chateauneufs, the palate is very different and quite delicious. It tastes of blood and dirt, with a touch of dried plum that isn't overmuch, still interesting. I love Chateauneufs at around this age.
