  August 11, 2019 - Dark cedar and slight Smokey nose with blackberries and some spicy plum and cherry notes. The palate is very refined with gobs of dark fruit and decent acidity for a rather hot vintage. Although pleasurable, I’d still age this another 3-5 years to get it at its peak. But if you have a couple bottles, no crime in opening it now. No2 of Winespectators top 100 wines of the year for 2012.
